SAB Standby Power

The project involved the upgrading of standby power systems for South African Breweries (SAB) for the following plants:

  • Alrode Brewery

  • Prospecton Brewery

  • Polokwane Brewery

  • Caledon Maltings

​

The purpose of the upgrade was to diminish the productions loses experienced by the different plants due to the electricity service provider’s inability to guarantee reliable energy.

High-Tech Systems was assigned to assist SAB with the project management. Our involvement within the project included the design, tender generation, adjudication, co-ordination and project supervision.
